It’s an anthology co-authored in collaboration with an amazing group of black women in cyber - cybersecurity & privacy pros.

Also Known as the Black Women in Cyber Collective.

It’s a collaborative work & masterpiece. We come from different backgrounds & penned down Sharing the brilliance and resilience of our journey in to cyber.

Honored & lucky to be amongst them in this collaboration!

It’s my 4th publication following my 3 award winning children’s books!

Women in cybersecurity right now account for 25% of the workforce

When I decided to join the cybersecurity industry back in late 2017 women only represented 11% shortly after to 14% of the industry.

It recently rose to 24-25%.

You might have also heard in recent report that the workforce gap isn’t only 3.4 million rather 4 million due to cut backs & layoffs impacting the industry.

Now, we can only imagine the impact on women in cybersecurity workforce.

Although we are hearing that it is expected to grow to 30% by 2025…

We aren’t & will not be there!

While only 9% of the workforce identify as black (Aspen Digital report)

MUCH lower for black women in cybersecurity.

The math ain’t mathing.

We need more women from all walks of life into the industry to bring diverse perspectives the industry desperately needs to continue contributing to solving problems & increase innovation.
